This research opportunity focuses on developing and applying advanced AI/ML driven image and video analytcs techniques to support complex system design and evaluation. The goal is to create intelligent tools that can automatically process large volumes of visual data, extract key features, and translate them into actionable insights and quantitative performance metrics for evaluation. This work advances state of the art AI/ML applications in engineering, supporting the development of adaptive , data driven design and evaluation frameworks.

Opportunity Skill Set:

Strong Programming proficiency in Python, familiarity with libraries such as Pytorch/Tensor flow. Good understanding of supervised / unsupervised learning, CNNs, and modern architectures for computer vision. Some experience with image classification, object detection, segmentation and video analysis. Ability to frame technical problems and design experiments to evaluate AI/ML solutions. Skills in documenting results, writing reports, and presenting findings clearly. Ability to work independently and collaborate in a research team. Critical thinking and willingness to iterate on approaches.
